The Bump N' Smash Beach Volleyball Tournament 2009, presented by Thomas Cavanagh Construction will take place Saturday July 25th, at the Scotiabank Place Parking Lot.
Funds raised will benefit Roger's House, the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre, Kids Come 1st plus the Ottawa Senators Foundation who are the presenting charity for this event.
This unique event brings the beach to the participants as a fleet of dump trucks and earth moving equipment descend upon the Scotiabank Place parking lot, delivering and grooming 2000 tonnes of fine beach sand to create a spectacular beach volleyball playing surface.
To date this event has raised nearly $750,000 for the Sens Foundation in support of Roger's House, the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre, and Kids Come 1st .
More than 120 teams are expected to compete and raise funds for charity this year. Black Fly is proud to be a part of this great event.
