Black Fly was again proud to be a part of "It's Your Festival" -The oldest and biggest Canada Day Festival in Canada and one of the Top 50 Festivals in Ontario.
It's Your Festival is organized by Hamilton Folk Arts Heritage Council and 4,000 dedicated volunteers. For the past 39 years, this event has attracted upwards of 6 million people with an attendance of over 250,000 in 2008..
This 39th edition of Its Your Festival celebrated Canada's 142 th Birthday for five fun-filled days, from July 1st to July 5th, 2009 in Gage Park, Hamilton.
Hamilton Folk Arts Heritage Council founded in 1969 are a Hamilton-based non-profit organization committed to the nurturing and promotion of ethnic awareness, and diverse cultural heritage throughout Canada.
Many enjoyed over 100 crafts booths, 5 days of concerts and some ice cold beverages in the beer and Black Fly tent.
