22nd Annual Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival

What a pleasure for Black Fly to be a part of this 22nd annual Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival (June 19-21, 2009); one of Vancouver's most anticipated summer family events. As always, this great event fulfills its mandate to promote cultural harmony among Canadians.
Recognized as North America's biggest and best, Vancouver's Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival 20th Anniversary was a true celebration of multiculturalism, attracting over 90,000 people and more than 180 dragon boat teams from across the Lower Mainland and around the globe.
This year, with the generous help of paddlers, performers, volunteers, sponsors, government partners, media, staff and suppliers the event was again resounding success.
Thanks to the board and event organizers for offering visitors a unique premium Canadian product. We welcome feedback, and look forward to being a part of Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival 2010.
